The SubZero 80037 60" Snowbroom does a pretty good job of clearing snow and ice. It's especially handy for larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks because of its reach. That 60-inch length is great for getting to those tricky spots on taller vehicles, but might be a bit of a pain when you're trying to fit it in your car. Our research points out that storing it in your trunk or backseat can be a bit of a squeeze.
The cool thing about this snowbroom is its versatility—thanks to its telescoping handle, it stretches from 30 to 60 inches, making it work for almost any vehicle size. Plus, it's got a 4.5-inch scraper blade and a 10-inch rotating brush with a squeegee that can be locked at different angles, as the manufacturer describes.
Just a heads up, though: the telescoping handle sometimes gives folks trouble, especially in really cold weather. Some people have mentioned issues with it locking properly. The pivoting head, meant to give you flexibility, can also be a little finicky about staying put once you set it.
Handling-wise, it's got ergonomic grips and a strong aluminum handle, which definitely helps you cover a lot of ground. But some have found it feels a bit clunky, especially when hauling it around a lot or trying to collapse it back down for storage.
Bottom line, this snowbroom is pretty solid for serious snow and ice clearing. Just think about where you're going to stash it in your car and if the handling and weight feel alright for you. Those are pretty key things to consider before deciding if it's the right fit for you.
